General Information

Dr. Nesari completed most of his education in California's public school system, earning a BS in Biochemistry from UC Davis in 1999 and a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from UC San Francisco in 2006. While at UCSF, he was recognized for clinical, research, and community excellence with numerous awards and distinctions, including the Chancellor's Award, the Bernard Osher Award, and First Prize in the UCSF Annual Research Poster Session.

He went further in training to receive his certificate of Endodontics from the University of Pennsylvania in 2008, as the sole recipient of the Louis I. Grossman Award for Excellence. Dr. Nesari is a Board-eligible member of the American Board of Endodontists, and maintains active membership in numerous professional associations. He stays at the forefront of endodontic clinical research, with particular emphasis on 3D CT imaging, endodontic microsurgery, and dental materials.

He also teaches part-time as a clinical instructor at the UCSF School of Dentistry, and has given instructional lectures and hands-on courses for general dentists throughout the country. Dr. Nesari is also a certified PACE provider through the Academy of General Dentistry. He enjoys a very active lifestyle, with family and friends at the center. He can be found most weekends trying out different restaurants in the San Francisco area, or working off the calories gained at the gym. An addiction to Apple gadgets has been admitted by Dr. Nesari, but it does not hinder his practice in any way.

Dr. Marracino received her DMD from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA. Upon graduation she completed a General Practice Residency at Harvard School of Dental Medicine and Brigham and Women's Hospital. After practicing as a general dentist, she pursued a postdoctoral residency in Endodontics at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry. Dr. Marracino is currently a part-time faculty member at the University of California San Francisco School of Dentistry teaching Endodontics to dental students.

In her spare time, Dr. Marracino enjoys playing tennis, cooking, reading, and snowboarding. She is also fluent in Spanish. Dr. Marracino is a specialist member of the American Association of Endodontists, California Dental Association and American Dental Association. She is Board Eligible by the American Board of Endodontics. Dr. Marracino is dedicated to providing high quality endodontic care and welcomes you to the practice.
